Cuyahoga West Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society resumes free Family History Research Help Sessions
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
If you need help getting started or have come to a "road block" in your path of finding your ancestors, this is an excellent opportunity to get assistance. Members will be available to assist other members, or the general public, at the computer terminals in the computer lab of Westlake Porter Public Library. There is no charge for this service.

The Friends of Porter Public Library Annual Book Sale, Feb. 1-5

The Friends will be having their Annual Book Sale from Feb. 1- Feb. 5. The sale on Wed., Feb. 1 is for members of Friends only from 4-7 p.m. Regular sale days are Feb. 2 and 3, starting at 9:30 a.m. The half-priced sale is on Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 9:30 a.m. The $2 bag sale is on Sunday, Feb. 5, starting at 1:15 p.m. There is also a Silent Auction of special books, including a signed first American edition of "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."
