Bay Village Walk

Join the Valley Vagabonds Walking Club for a 5K or 10K walk through beautiful Bay Village. The walks take you by Lake Erie, BAYarts, Huntington Playhouse, Lake Erie Nature and Science Center, Rose Hill Museum, City Hall, Huntington Beach Metro Park, several century homes, Lakeside Cemetery, and the former Lake Shore Electric Railway.

Walk begins at the Cuyahoga County Public Library, Bay Village Branch ~ 502 Cahoon Rd.

Plant and Garden Sale
9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
The Fairview Park Garden Club fundraiser will feature close to 1,000 plants, including ornamental grasses, ground covers, native plants, shrubs, hostas, tomatoes, peppers and herb plants, as well as gardening accessories, bird houses and more. Members will be on hand to answer gardening questions.
May 19, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. and May 20, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Fashion Forward Project Bake Sale and Silent Auction

Fashion Forward Project, a new program partnering with Bay Village Community Services to provide new, quality clothing to people in need, will hold a bake sale and silent auction fundraiser. Attendees also will be able to "adopt an outfit" by making a donation toward a clothing item. For more information, please contact Laura Ploenzke at 440-617-9477.

National Safe Boating week kick off begins with an attempt to set a record for the number of people wearing a lifejacket. The local event will be at the Bay Boat Club on Saturday May 19. Bring your lifejacket and help set a record.
