“To Backup or Not to Backup? And that is not even the question!”

Northeast Ohio Computers welcomes Bruce Brockman, NEOPC president, for his program “To Backup or not to Backup? And that is not even the question!”
Today with virtually everyone using a computer, tablet or smartphone, most know backups are a necessity, even if they don't know all the reasons why. Losing your computer's functionality, pictures, contact lists or any other important data could be disastrous in this “paperless” world. Said Bruce: "Based on my own experience as well as talking to peers about computers for many years, I can say unequivocally that backup is the most misunderstood and underused of the computer 'Musts.' Because this topic is so important and must cover so many variables, this presentation will be somewhat general in content. When you leave this presentation you will have a basic understanding of the types of backup, and know how, when, and where to backup your computer. You also will have an understanding of the types of software available to help you with your backups. More detailed information about backups will be available on the club's Forum. So, please join me for what I consider one of the most important presentations of the year."
