Herb Guild Garden Club Meeting
10:00 AM
The meeting will feature John Burmeister, owner of Valley City Fungi. He will speak on growing your own gourmet mushrooms. The meeting portion will start at 10 a.m. Mr. Burmeister will give his presentation at 12:30. Valley City Fungi is a small family-owned farm that specializes in growing organic mushrooms and supplies their product to local farmers’ markets and area restaurants.

Stay Safe in the Digital World

This month Northeast Ohio Personal Computers welcomes Tak and Mely Sato with their program "Stay Safe in the Digital World." Join Tak as he explains practicing good habits that help you stay safe in the digital world.

Tak and Mely Sato launched techDEITY, ltd., now doing business as geek with a heart, to help people use appropriate technology in their personal and professional lives.
Tak is also the author of “The Digital World” column in the Westlake | Bay Village Observer. As author and speaker, Tak demystifies technology for his audience. He holds a BS degree in Computer Information Science and an Executive MBA from Cleveland State University.

Glory Days in Tribe Town, Terry Pluto

The Art of Communication

College Club West will continue its monthly gathering with Arlene Strauch, a licensed professional counselor, who will present a program on the art of communication. Take some time for this learning opportunity and also meet club members in a relaxed social setting.

This club meets monthly and usually presents topics of interest to women. In addition there are 37 smaller and varied special interest groups including book discussion, bowling league, golf league, gardening, genealogy research, stock investment, quilting and tech connect to name a few, that meet separately.
