"Books That Made a Difference" Panel Discussion

Join us during National Library Week for the “Books that Made a Difference” panel discussion. Students, faculty, and administrators will share books that made a real impact in their lives. Witness the value that the act of reading can add to one’s life. Food and drinks will be served. Free and open to the public.

Westlake Schools’ Levy Information Night
6:00 PM
The Westlake City Schools Board of Education placed a 1-mill Permanent Improvement (PI) levy on the May 5 ballot to invest in the short- and long-term capital needs of the district. A PI levy can only be used for capital items with an anticipated lifespan of at least five years, such as safety and security, technology, building repairs, transportation needs and other equipment purchases. The levy will generate $1.36 million annually for the district.
