Mary Deutschman: Painting the Metroparks with Color
"The Cleveland Metroparks is filled with fabulous inspiration. It is referred to as The Emerald Necklace because it is a park system that surrounds the city and suburbs. It is made up of rivers, waterfalls, bridges, hills and winding roads, bike paths, trees, flowers, picnic areas, families of deer and other wildlife. Each season is a gift. I have painted its many faces but have not yet realized all of its beauty."
