Bay Village Women's Club Meeting
12:30 PM
Members and other interested persons are invited to hear a presentation by M. Susan Murnane, Ph.D., historian and author of "Bankruptcy in an Industrial Society." She will illuminate the role politics and corruption played in the bankruptcy courts of the Northern District of Ohio before the changes of 1984. People don't like to admit the part politics played in the selection of judges and judicial officers and we'll hear the fascinating behind-the-scenes events of the social side of America's development of bankruptcy to address consumer debt and business risks. For information call 440-334-7539.
