Searching the Internet
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
In March, Northeast Ohio Personal Computers (NEOPC) welcomes Bruce Brockman with his program "Searching the Internet." If you have a computer, tablet or smart phone the chances are 99 out of 100 you use it to "find things." The truth is, the better you are at this task, the more rewarded you are. Searching skills are not something you are born with, they can be learned and improved. This presentation will show you many aspects of "searching" you may not be aware of. You will be given a list of over 24 unique Internet links that show special aspects of "searching." You will also be given a very brief look at the mysterious "Dark Web," where actually over 99% of the information available to you resides. Bring your questions and if the speaker cannot answer them, well, we will search for the answer together.

Bruce Brockman, who is currently serving as President of NEOPC, previously had his own businesses relating to the automotive industry and senior computer training. For additional information, go to www.neopc.org.
