Annual Fete des Fleurs Luncheon
12:00 PM
The Westlake Garden Club's annual fundraiser luncheon will feature a fabulous lunch with Joe Crea, dining and restaurant editor of the Plain Dealer, providing an entertaining program. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. to view raffle baskets and Bake Shoppe items. Tickets are $35 advance sale only and include valet parking. Call 216-221-6365.

After School Adventures: Nature's Rock Band
4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Ever wondered what bird is making that sound? Curious about how animals can hear underwater? Explore the nature of sound and the sounds of nature through hands on experiments and make your own instrument from the natural materials we collect on a hike. Oh, and see how you can turn flowers into a drum set!
For children in grades 1 – 4. Fee: $40/child.

Learning for Life Lecture: Mental Disease - Myth or Reality?
7:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Join us for a free lecture with Dr. Hareendra Adhvariyu, a psychiatrist, and Betty Ruth Shear, author of “Full Circle.”

They will discuss the debate on whether mental illness is a myth or reality. They will present both sides of the argument.

Ruth Shear is a patient of Dr. Adhvariyu, and has come out of bipolar disorder and written a book called “Full Circle," which explains her journey from the illness to cure.
