Fine Motor & Sensory Consult
10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Does your child hate tags in clothing or seem overly bothered by “itchy” clothes? Does your child have difficulty with holding a pencil, fork or spoon? Does your child struggle with zippers, snaps, buttons or tying shoes? Does your child spin, jump and crash his or her body into things? Are you concerned about your child’s handwriting? If so, come to our Fine Motor & Sensory Consult where you and your child will spend five to ten minutes with a pediatric occupational therapist from Abilities First. This free consult is open to children ages 2-12. Your child will be encouraged to engage in a few simple activities while you fill out a quick checklist, and you will learn some fun, simple strategies to help him or her at home.
