Monthly meeting of Chapter 91 of the Public Employee Retirees, Inc. (PERI)
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Guest speaker will be Tom Strong who will talk about "Alzheimer's & Improving Memory." Learn what mental exercises and foods can help prevent this age-related disease. Mr. Strong is a noted medical lecturer and patient advocate.

PERI, established in 1948, has 63,780 members throughout the state. Chapter 91 includes members from the northwestern suburbs surrounding Cleveland. They meet monthly to discuss topics of interest and keep updated on proposed legislation. Public sector retirees are welcome to attend the meetings.

Art and History of Prague

Join the West Shore Antique & History Group as Joanne and Ray Heinert share highlights from their September trip to Prague. Discover Prague city’s rich history, monuments and artwork. They will provide an overview of the fascinating masterpieces of the Czech Republic’s capital such as the Royal Castle, the Charles Bridge, the old Jewish Quarter, the Cathedral of Saint Vitus, and the Old Town. Who knows, this might just inspire you to plan your next vacation in Prague.

Rocky River Chamber Music Society Concert – Bennewitz Quartet
7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Named after renowned Czech violinist Antonin Bennewitz, The Bennewitz Quartet will perform the Rocky River Chamber Music Society's first concert of 2018. Formed in 1998 by four young musicians at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, the Bennewitz Quartet will play music by Czech composers Leoš Janáček, Bedrich Smetana, and Antonin Dvorák.

No admission charge; all are welcome.
