Memory Lane Trivia

Calling all Trivia buffs! Bay Village Senior Center is recruiting Trivia Buffs to come play the fun, and fast-growing trend in area senior centers. Memory Lane trivia is an interactive, mentally challenging game where you compete against other teams to win prizes. Teams will be competing from each senior center in Westlake, North Olmsted, Rocky River and Bay Village. As a new twist the staff from the local centers will be competing as well. This month’s theme will be “Movies, Music and More!" Teams may consist of up to 6 players.

Light refreshments will be served.

Cooking For Cancer Survivorship

Cancer prevention starts in the kitchen! Learn how to create plant-based meals and snacks that give you the nutrients needed to support the body's ability to maintain health. We will also explore strategies that will help you make plant-based, nutrient-rich foods the cornerstone of your sustainable nutrition plan.

Class structure will include hands on time in the kitchen preparing recipes, followed by time to enjoy what you've made in our dining; There will be plenty of time for discussion with our guest host--Gretchen Spetz, nutritionist/dietitian.

Rocky River Coterie Presents Storyteller Bev Stives

The Rocky River Coterie, a gathering of friends and charitable group, raising funds for Meals-on-Wheels and community resources, will be hosting a free hourlong program. Storyteller Bev Stives will present a fascinating program on stories from the World War II era. Refreshments will be served. All are welcome.

The program is “The Healthy Aging Brain” with speaker Kathleen Stefancin, M.S., R.D. College Club West offers women living on the west side of Cleveland with four-year degrees and registered nurses opportunities to learn, socialize and participate in fun, meaningful activities.
