Blue Star Mothers Wreath Placements

Blue Star Mothers OH Chapter 26 is a participating group for Wreaths Across America, in conjunction with Sunset Memorial Park, for the placement of sponsored veterans’ wreaths made of fresh Maine balsam on Dec. 14. Through WAA’s program, the sponsorship of a $15 veteran’s wreath through Blue Star Mothers OH Chapter 26 ensures a wreath is placed at a veteran’s final resting place honoring their service. Blue Star Mothers OH Chapter 26 is also a participant in the ’three for two program’ which provides a third wreath for every two sponsored to increase the number of honored veterans.
To sponsor wreaths, visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org. Under the ‘SPONSOR WREATHS’ red block, click on "Local Fundraising Group. Enter group ID"OH0179" which will automatically link to our chapter.
Volunteers are also needed for this event and can register through the website link provided above.

Journey To Bethlehem
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Church of the Redeemer United Church of Christ continues its free, family-friendly holiday tradition with its annual Journey to Bethlehem. After arriving at the census taker, visitors are led by guides through this live, interactive nativity, an indoor/outdoor experience complete with live animals and refreshments. Along the journey, participants will meet King Herod, angels, shepherds and the magi. The final destination is the manger.
