Hospice of the Western Reserve Volunteer Training Series

Are you looking for a way to help individuals in your community? We serve palliative and hospice care patients and families wherever they call home and have a wide range of volunteer opportunities to fit your talents, interests, and schedule. There are many virtual and face-to-face opportunities available at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake, the Medina Inpatient Unit and Life’s Treasures Thrift Shop in Medina, and the David Simpson Hospice House and our Headquarters office in Cleveland. We usually hold two virtual training series each month. Upcoming training sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays & Thursdays — October 4, 6, 11, and 13 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm and Saturdays — October 22 and 29 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Registration for a specific series is contingent on meeting pre-registration requirements which include completing an application, criminal background check, and pre-screening interview. Columbia Park Charity Craft Show

Admission: Can or bag of cat food

The charity we are supporting is the Columbia Park TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) Program. This program helps keep the feral cat population down in nearby neighborhoods.

The table fees and any prize ticket sales will go 100% to the TNR Program. The cat food goes
to the residents who are feeding the feral cats,
