Come to an old-fashioned family fun day at the Knickerbocker

The West Shore Senior Center, located at the Knickerbocker Apartments, 27100 Knickerbocker Rd. in Bay Village, welcomes the community to the first annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. It is a chance to meet with your neighbors, make new friends, and enjoy the afternoon with fun and fellowship.

Many churches and civic organizations are assisting in the events of the day, including cotton candy, snow cones, face painting, furry friends, finger painting, ring toss, duck pond, and more. The Bay Village safety forces will be there to allow children of all ages see what it is like to be a real hero for the day! 

The concession stand will be open for lunch and will be serving hot dogs, corn dogs, soft pretzels, funnel cakes and more.

A live Dixie Land band will perform at 1:45 p.m.

The highlight of the afternoon will take place when the children are invited to help build and eat a 12-foot-long banana split!

What a great way to spend a fall afternoon!
