BAYarts will light up the night with a Moondance!

Last year silouettes on the Fuller House window foreshadowed this year's event when the house will be open for Moondance.

It's been called the party of the year by more than one attendee and tickets to the annual "Light Up the Night" fall fundraiser are already selling briskly for this September 18 event with RPM as the premier sponsor.

Each year the theme focuses on "lights" and this year it's "Moondance," which will be reflected in the decor. The benefit is held each fall to raise general operating funds. Last years event raised $40,000, this year's goal is to exceed that.

"It rained last year but no one noticed," says Rory Berg, Corporate Sponsor chair. "We danced and ate and had a ball. The common response was 'what rain?' "

As always, several top restaurants will show off the best of their menus including Michael Symon's B Spot, Three Birds, Blue Point Grille, The Good Fork, 87 West, Sweet Melissa's, Tartine, Vento and Mojo's. Open bars including Great Lakes beer and great wines are included in the price of the ticket. Silent auction items include a sailboat cruise and original works of art. The band, always a centerpiece of the event, will be the jazzy, bluesy, original sound of Kristine Jackson.

Tickets are $75 each or you can purchase a table for 10 friends. For information on corporate sponsorship or to purchase tickets, visit www.bayarts.net or call 440-871-6543.

Mary Conway-Sullivan is the Chair for Development on the BAYarts board.
