Come to the Bay Village Branch Library summer reading kick-off party!

Ahoy, mateys! Cuyahoga County Public Library’s summer reading game, "Books Ahoy," starts Saturday, June 5, and the Bay Village Branch Library is celebrating with a Pirate Party between the hours of 2-4 p.m.

"Pirates of the Caribbean" impersonators, Captain Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swan and other feisty characters will swashbuckle their way throughout the library. They're friendly pirates and willing to stand still for pictures, but you need to bring your own camera! Pirates don't have any of that new fangled technology. If you dare, you can enter their Pirates Cove; a treasure hunt, pirate grub, crafts, and prizes await brave landlubbers. Dress like a pirate and maybe they won't throw you overboard! Blimey!

The real treasure lies in the reading though so register for the Books Ahoy Summer Reading Game and set sail for a summer of reading adventure. Begin your journey at the Bay Village Branch Library on June 5!
