'Smokey Joe's Cafe' rocks at Huntington Playhouse

Huntington Playhouse is presenting “Smokey Joe’s Café” featuring the music of Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller through Sept. 12. Performances are on Friday and Saturday evenings with one Sunday matinee on September 12 at 2:00 p.m.

The music of this legendary rock and roll songwriting duo light up the stage. Featuring hits from the '50s and '60s, this sizzling revue will have you on your feet and dancing. Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller may not be household names, but their 45-year collaboration has yielded some of the most famous rhythm and blues and rock and roll hits of all time including "On Broadway," "Love Potion #9," "Stand By Me" and "Hound Dog."
