Dave Wolf and animal friends will visit the Bay Village Branch Library
Dave Wolf from the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center will bring some of his animal friends to the Bay Village Branch Library on Wednesday, June 30, at 2:00 p.m. Find out who likes water as Dave brings some water animal friends with him for his visit. You might be surprised to see which animals like to live in and around the water.
Speaking of animals and water, did you know that the summer readers are working toward the goal of adopting the Tide Pool at the LENSC? Our reading goal is 18,000 hours of reading for the summer. If we meet that goal, the Friends of the Bay Village Library will pay for one year's adoption of the tide pool and its inhabitants.
You read, we'll keep track of the total hours. Keep an eye on the chart in the Children's Room to see the total number of hours as they add up! Participants may also fill out an entry form after completing one, three, five and eight game boards during the summer to try to win a Nature Center prize!
Call the library at 871-6392 to register for the program, and for more details on the Summer Reading Game.
