Why War?
Why do we fight each other
Over power why mislead?
It makes no sense to kill a man
For nothing more than greed.
Will it not stop this urge to rise,
For fame which I despise,
The ruins that are left behind,
In war are not a prize.
They are remnants of a loveless world
Where man never evolved.
They cared for just themselves and so
Through War their hearts revolved.
Oh help me if I could reach out,
and be heard on this day,
I would embrace the ones who fight,
Their own demons in some way.
Make a promise to yourself,
And show it to the world,
And treat your every brother,
Like a diamond or a pearl.
Hold the fire, show your love,
Embrace your fellow man,
Believe that we all share this Earth,
And forever hold his hand.
