In December, the Peter Navarre Chapter of the United States Daughters of 1812 (U.S.D. 1812) held its first meeting in Westlake since relocating to the Bay Village/Westlake–Toledo area. Current efforts are underway to recognize the Bicentennial of the War of 1812.
