Second annual Rock-N-Bowl fundraiser set for Jan. 28
Bay Lanes owner Mark Nazario, Scott “Elvis” Pohlkamp and Dave MacAskill gear up for an evening of fun to benefit The Village Food Project.
Please join us in supporting a very worthy cause, the Village Food Project, Saturday, Jan. 28, at Bay Lanes for a great evening of live music, dancing and bowling – the second annual Rock-N-Bowl! Last year’s Rock-N-Bowl was a huge success and the talk of the town.
Beginning at 8 p.m., local classic rock and pop bands The Feedbacks (including Bay residents Dave MacAskill and Chris Gillespie) and DDK (featuring Keven Blake and Dave Lowery) with special guests Elvis Pohlkamp and comedian Delmar Everheart (Randy Geise) will perform live at Bay Lanes. Find a lane, grab a ball and have a ball while enjoying great music and fun.
To ensure a fun-filled evening of live music and bowling, please RSVP to aspohlkamp@yahoo.com to reserve your spot. Admission is $15 per person, or $20 per person at the door if you do not RSVP. Ticket price does not include beverages. Reservations are strongly recommended as we expect a sold-out event.
The Village Food Project provides highly nutritional, balanced meals to Bay Village and Avon Lake residents and their loved ones experiencing a cancer crisis. VFP is a multi-generational project where adults mentor teens from our community, training them in the kitchen to cook meals. Through this experience our local teens learn about nutrition, meal planning, cooking and serving those in need during a very difficult time.
