A big thank you from The Friends of Porter Library
The Friends of Porter Public Library would like to give a big "Thank You" to the many volunteers, donors and patrons who made our 2012 Annual Booksale such a success in February. The Friends were able to raise over $14,000 in funds that will be used to benefit the library. We would like to thank the many volunteers who worked over 900 hours to set-up and then run the sale. It wouldn't have happened without your hard work.
Our next Annual Sale will be held the first week in February 2013. Meanwhile, used books can be purchased all year long in the Book Nook, the used book room located off of the lobby of the library. The Book Nook is open Mondays, 4-7 p.m.; Wednesdays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; and Sunday, when school is open, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Donations of books are accepted during regular library hours at the Book Nook drop-off location.
