Hilliard fourth-grader chosen for state art exhibition

Hilliard Elementary School fourth-grader Sophia Gorski was chosen as an exhibitor for the 32nd annual Young People’s Art Exhibition, sponsored by the Ohio Art Education Association.

Sophia will be recognized at a ceremony on March 10 at the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus. Her work is one of 140 pieces of student artwork from all over the state to be included in the exhibition, which runs Feb. 27 to March 27.

After the show, the art will move to the Ohio Department of Education building for the summer. Some of the art works will be selected for display at the OAEA Convention in Cincinnati in November.
