Team Read a Book program at the Bay Village Branch Library
Students in grades 2-3 with identified learning disabilities or who are struggling with their literacy skills are invited to join the children’s librarian and a literacy teacher for an hour and a half of information and fun! Students and parents participate in activities during two segments of this program.
For the first segment, parents go separately into a program with a representative of the Learning Disabilities Association while the children remain with the librarian for fun reading-based activities. During the second session, families will participate in an activity or a craft together.
The final program will be Robotix, with parents and their children working together to build a robot. Team Read a Book will run for four Thursday evenings: March 8, 15, 22 and 29 from 6-7:30 p.m. A pizza dinner will be provided each time to start the program, so don’t worry about making dinner that night!
Please plan to join us for information and fun activities by calling 871-6392 or going online to cuyahogalibrary.org.
