Bay Village Schools Citizens Advisory Committee looking for members

The Bay Village Board of Education's Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) has, for more than two decades, served in an advisory capacity to the Bay Village Board of Education. Applications are now open for three-year terms beginning in the fall of 2012.

Members complete research and make recommendations about a wide range of educational and administrative issues, such as transportation, student fees, safety, benchmarking in assessing our educational program and many others.

Diversity of opinion, expertise, gender, age and geographic representation are considered in developing a committee that is representative of the Bay Village community. (Members may not be employees of the Bay Village City School District.)

Applications, which are due no later than Friday, June 1, can be found at www.bayvillageschools.com/CAC or at the Bay Village Board of Education office, 377 Dover Center Rd. in Bay Village.
