In memory of a friend

On Sept. 19, 2013, the Knickerbocker community lost one of its own. Clara J. Cuthbert was a longtime resident who was very active in the kitchen and the many events held at the Knickerbocker. She was well known for her potato salad. She spent many volunteer hours cooking for the Knickerbocker family with a smile.

One of Clara's specialty events was an annual clambake with her special chowder. Her own family planted flowers in the courtyard every spring. There are many residents who contribute daily to Knickerbocker events but Clara was one of the special people. She will be missed but not forgotten.
