Bay High presents 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' Oct. 16 and 18

Bay High’s Drama Club will present the classic C.S. Lewis children’s tale, "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," on Thursday and Saturday, Oct. 16 and 18, 7 p.m. at Bay High Auditorium. Tickets are $5 and sold only at the door; children ages 5 and under are admitted free.

The entire family will enjoy this mythical journey of young siblings Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter, who have been sent to the English countryside to escape the bombing in London during World War II. During their stay in London, they uncover a magical wardrobe that sends them to the mystical land of Narnia. In Narnia, the children encounter several magical creatures under the spell of the White Queen. To help the animals in this kingdom, the children must work together with Aslan, the former ruler of Narnia, to break the White Witch’s spell of an endless winter and bring Narnia back to a wondrous land of magic.

Cast members for Bay High’s production are leads Andrea Bliscik (Lucy), James McDermott (Edmund), Claire Mercer (Susan), Patrick Grealis (Peter), Abbie Donovan (Aslan, the Lion), and Kerry O’Brien (the White Witch). Additional cast members are Phil Lally, Rose Schultz, Salem Stacey, Brad Beverly, Jonathan McAvinue, Matt Szekely, Mandy Hoskins, Quinn Noonan, Emma Russell, Olivia Swasey and Brian Hippler.

The crew includes Kaleigh Mahon (Prop Head), Susan Shaw (Costume Head), Haylee Maude (Light Head), Nathan Cullinan (Sound Head), Ava Almquist, Madeline Avile, Peter Biery, Lily Conover, Greyley Cook, Brandon Davis, Alistair Giffels, Megan Hughes, Jocelyn Joseph, Stephanie Mahon, Haylee Maude, Annamarie McGuire, Moira Meehan, Makayla Minnes, Bridget Murphy, Alex Oley, Valentina Pramer, Ariel Rosado, Robert Shaw, Alaina Sopa, Michael Trimble, Franklin Wilde, Maggie Williams, and Rachel Zvara.
