History rocks at Westlake Porter Public Library

Do you remember “the day the music died”? What about the first time you heard the Beatles? Can you explain Cleveland’s special place in the history of rock 'n' roll? If so, you’ll enjoy "Rock ’n’ Roll History: A Journey in Sounds 1949-1964" at Westlake Porter Public Library on Wednesday, Dec. 3, from 7 to 8:45 p.m.

Dr. Joel Keller of Baldwin Wallace University will explore the classic genre of rock 'n' roll, including rock’s historical and cultural significance. Whether they lived through it or are a member of the millennial generation, attendees will enjoy some of the biggest hits of the era as well as other musical selections.
