K-Kids help animals

The Westlake Kiwanis K-Kids from Dover Intermediate made pull toys for dogs waiting to be adopted at the Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria. Old T-shirts donated by the Westlake Kiwanis were cut into strips and braided into toys.

K-Kids, a Westlake Kiwanis sponsored service club for elementary students, also organized a drive at the school to collect needed supplies and items for the animal shelter such as pet food, litter, toys and cleaning supplies.
