  • Bay Village Kiwanis Club members organized a weekend landscaping work party last summer at the home of Michelle Radke. Her husband Peter’s heroic attempt to rescue a 13-year-old girl resulted in his drowning death at Huntington Beach a year ago on Memorial Day. His act prompted an outpouring of community support for his Medina family that included the highest national Kiwanis award for bravery, presented to his wife at the National Kiwanis Convention in Indianapolis.
