Herb Guild Garden Club awards scholarships

On Wednesday, Aug. 3, The Herb Guild Garden Club held its 32nd annual luncheon and presented scholarships to three high school graduates: Dani Miziolek, Theresa Tomaszyk and Thomas Millgard.

Dani, who attended Berea-Midpark High School, will be attending Ohio University. She plans to major in environmental science and minor in plant biology. Theresa is a graduate of Huron High School. She plans to major in horticulture science and minor in greenhouse and nursery management at The Ohio State University. Tom graduated from North Ridgeville High School and Lorain County Joint Vocational School. He will be attending Baker College in Port Huron, Michigan, where he plans to major in culinary arts.
