Nature's Night Out benefit to be held Aug. 26 at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center

All are invited to Lake Erie Nature & Science Center’s annual benefit, Nature’s Night Out, on Saturday, Aug. 26, starting at 7 p.m.

“We are very excited to welcome everyone to this year’s benefit. It is our pinnacle event focusing on nature education for children,” says Catherine Timko, executive director at the Center. “Every aspect of the evening reflects our distinct mission.”

Enjoy a strolling dinner, an open bar featuring signature cocktails and locally brewed beer, a silent auction, raffles and live 1920s-style jazz provided by Dr. Tommy Scott. Explore the universe in Schuele Planetarium, try your hand at a science experiment and meet the Center’s animal ambassadors throughout the evening.

Tickets start at $85 per person and VIP tickets are available for $125. The benefit will be preceded by a VIP Party beginning at 5:30 p.m. that will include hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, a fermentation lecture and more. Proceeds from Nature’s Night Out will help the Center to continue its mission in providing hands-on educational programming, a public access planetarium and wildlife rehabilitation services at no charge to the public.

To purchase tickets, please visit www.lensc.org or contact Kate Hublou, Development Events Coordinator, at kateh@lensc.org or 440-471-8354.
