Annual Christmas 'Greening' workshops return to Bay Village

A joyful wreath is one of three new designs offered in the Bay Village Garden Club's annual "Greening" workshops.

The Bay Village Garden club is pleased to again offer fun workshops to help people make fresh arrangements to decorate their homes or give as gifts. This is the 35th year for "Greening" and it continues to be a very popular event for the community. The club will provide all the materials and instructions to make it easy for anyone to create a beautiful holiday arrangement.

This year we have three new designs: a joyful wreath, a round centerpiece with lantern and a mini-boxwood tree topped with a plaid ribbon. Each arrangement is priced at $35.

The workshops will be held Tuesday, Dec. 5, in the evening, and Wednesday, Dec. 6, beginning at 9:00 a.m. A  picture of each arrangement and a list of exact times for each project can be seen on our website, bayvillagegardenclub.com. Registration forms are also found on the website.

Workshops are held in the Community Room of Bay United Methodist Church, 29931 Lake Road. Arrive early for your workshop to enjoy complimentary refreshments, shop at our kiosk, and enter a raffle for a unique arrangement.

The proceeds from these workshops are used for all our civic beautification projects including the Welcome Sign Planters, flower beds around the Gazebo and at City Hall, as well as joint projects with the Dwyer Center and Village Project.
