The Women’s Board of Lake Erie Nature & Science Center will host speaker David Dibbell at their monthly meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 2 at noon.

Dibbell, an Avon Lake resident, developed a hobby of wildlife and nature photography early in his retirement. He spends his mornings walking or biking the natural areas near his home, capturing shots of native flora and fauna. Some of his favorite species to photograph are birds, butterflies and deer.

Members of the community are invited to enjoy refreshments beginning at noon followed by Dibbell’s presentation at 12:30 p.m. He will share the stories behind his favorite images as well as tips for those interested in nature photography.

This presentation is free to the public. Please RSVP by calling Lake Erie Nature & Science Center at 440-871-2900 or by emailing info@lensc.org.
