Usher in the Christmas season with a journey to Bethlehem

Church of the Redeemer United Church of Christ continues its family-friendly holiday tradition with its annual Journey to Bethlehem, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 13 and 14, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. The event takes place at Church of the Redeemer UCC, 23500 Center Ridge Road, Westlake.

After arriving at the census taker, visitors are led by guides through this live, interactive nativity, an indoor/outdoor experience complete with live animals and refreshments. Along the journey, participants will meet King Herod, angels, shepherds and the magi. The final destination is the manger.

“Journey to Bethlehem is an inspiring beginning to the Christmas Season,” says Pastor R. Brooke Baker, Redeemer’s senior minister. “2019 marks the 20th anniversary of our first Journey to Bethlehem. We are thrilled that we can offer this gift to the Greater Cleveland community.”

Church of the Redeemer United Church of Christ is a just peace, open and affirming congregation. All are welcome. For information about Journey to Bethlehem, contact the church at 440-331-0834 or online at www.corucc.org/journey-to-bethlehem.
