Westlake resident receives Rotary award

North Coast Rotary President Joe Matuscak recently presented the Paul Harris Fellowship award to fellow club member and Westlake resident Allen G. Porter Sr. during the club's regular meeting in Avon Lake.

The Paul Harris Award is special recognition for contribution of service. It also is awarded for financial gifts to the Rotary Foundation of $1,000 or more. This is the second time Allen has received this award.

Allen has led the cause for recycling medical equipment and supplies for the club.
