Westlake's 8th annual Scarecrow Festival is Oct. 23
The Westlake Recreation Center will be hosting its 8th annual Scarecrow Festival this October.
Families, companies and small groups are invited to purchase a scarecrow pack and create their own scarecrow to be displayed outside the Rec Center and judged for prizes for three award categories: Most Original, Scariest, and Most Creative.
The cost is $20 for each scarecrow pack. Registration is available at webtrac.cityofwestlake.org or in person at the Rec Center. The deadline to register is Oct. 12. Assembled scarecrows must be returned to the Rec Center by Oct. 23 at noon.
