Wednesday, Jan. 20 (11-11:30 a.m.) Preschoolers Rock! (Live) – Join Miss Nancy on social media as we have fun singing songs and using instruments to keep to the beat of the music! This month we’ll share ideas for making shakers from everyday items! Ages 3-5.

Wednesday, Jan. 20 (noon-1 p.m.) Accelerating Growth with New Business Development, Part 2 (Live) – Kelly Lawrence, founder and CEO of Lawrence Innovation, shows us how great interviewing leads to better customer insights and engagement which leads to superior new products and services … then ultimately rapid, profitable, sustainable growth. Wednesday, Jan. 20 (2-3 p.m.) Wednesday Afternoon Book Discussion (Live) – This month’s book is "The Guest Book" by Sarah Blake. Please note that this monthly discussion will take place on the third Wednesday of the month from now on. Discussion will be held via Zoom. Please register. Thursdays, Jan. 21 and 28 (3:30-4:30 p.m.) WPPL Roblox Club – Love Roblox? Then WPPL has a club for you! We have some private servers set up for Tweens in grades 4-6 to hang out with their friends and enjoy some of the most popular games via Zoom. Please register.

Thursday, Jan. 21 (7-8:30 p.m.) Business Legal Series (Live) – SCORE Cleveland is offering this free presentation on Human Resources. Please register. You will need to provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.

Friday, Jan. 22 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) Got Science? Supply Pick Up – Join Got Science? as we experiment with electricity! Kits will be available beginning Jan. 22. You will need a kit to participate in the program. Grades 1 & 2. Registering for the supply pick up will also register you for the Zoom event on Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.

Monday, Jan. 25 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Kinder Club – Pick up your packet at the Youth Services Desk on or after Jan. 25. Each bag will contain multiple early literacy concepts that will be featured weekly on our Kinder Club Blog. Ages 4-6. While supplies last.

Tuesday, Jan. 26 (11-11:30 a.m.) and Wednesday, Jan. 27 (6:30-7 p.m.) Family Storytime (Live) – Join us on Zoom for an interactive storytime featuring books, rhymes, songs and movement. For families with children up to 2-6, siblings welcome. Please register. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.

Wednesday, Jan. 27 (noon-1 p.m.) Accelerating Growth with New Business Development, Part 3 (Live) – Kelly Lawrence, founder and CEO of Lawrence Innovation, will talk about how to engage customers with virtual interviews. During the pandemic, travel has become a challenge for many of us. Customers may not be willing to open their doors to suppliers in an effort to keep essential workers safe and able to continue production. Many of our customers are working from home. This is the last of a 3-part series presented by Cleveland SCORE. Please register. You will need to provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.

Wednesday, Jan. 27 (4-5 p.m.) Teen Writers Group (Live) – An online meet-up for teens in grades 7-12. This is an hour to just write, with the last 15 minutes reserved for any writer in need of some group brainstorming. Please register. Wednesday, Jan. 27 (8-9 p.m.) Discovery Box for Teens Sign Up – A personalized subscription box service for teens in grades 7-12. Each box will include a book, a paper craft, a mystery snack and a few other surprises! After signing up you’ll receive a survey to help us personalize your box to your taste. Pick up takes place Feb. 3-5.

Thursday, Jan. 28 (9 a.m.-9 p.m.) Harry Potter Book Night Supply Pick Up – Celebrate the magic and wonder of the 7th Annual Harry Potter Book Night! Supply kits are available to pick up at the library beginning Jan. 28. All ages. Registration begins Jan. 21. Registering for a kit also registers you for the Zoom celebration on Feb. 4 from 7-8 p.m. Participants must provide an email to receive Zoom instructions.

Saturday, Jan. 30 (9 a.m.-6 p.m.) Mystery STEAM Bag Challenge Supply Pick Up – Pick up your Mystery STEAM Bag Supplies at the Drive-Up Window on or after Jan. 30. Each bag contains mystery craft materials and a challenge card. Use the materials to complete the design challenge and share with us on Zoom! Grades 1 and 2. Please register; registering to pick up materials also registers you for the Zoom event on Feb. 6 at 11 a.m.

Saturday, Jan. 30 (11-11:30 a.m.) Pokemon Fun (Live) – Join Miss Rachel for a virtual Pokemon Zoom meeting! We will play a guess that Pokemon game and have time for show and tell. Feel free to bring a favorite Pokemon card or toy for show and tell! Registration begins Jan. 23. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.

Saturday, Jan. 30 (1-2:30 p.m.) Medicare Ins and Outs (Live) – Do you need accurate, unbiased information about Medicare? Attend a Zoom presentation by OSHIIP, the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program, to learn the “ins and outs” of Medicare. Please register. Once registered you will receive an email containing instructions for joining us via Zoom.

Sunday, Jan. 31 (1-5 p.m.) American Girl Doll Club Pick Up – A Valentine’s Day Fun supply kit will be available in the Youth Services Department beginning Jan. 31. Ages 6-10. Registration begins Jan. 24. Registering will also register you for the Zoom event on Feb. 7 from 2-2:30 p.m. You will need a kit to participate in the program. Participants must provide an email address to receive Zoom instructions.
