Red Barn Youth Theater presents 'Christmas Shorts' Dec. 16-18

Red Barn Youth Theater will present "Christmas Shorts" by Lucy Williams on Friday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m.; Saturday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, Dec. 18, at 2 p.m. at Clague Playhouse.

There’s something for everyone in this holiday delight! You’ll find everything here, from kids writing letters to Santa, to the big guy getting ready for Christmas himself, to a bunch of elves who accidentally rip Santa’s gift bag at the last minute. (Don’t worry, Mrs. Claus can fix it!) There’s a sports segment featuring the 845th annual Reindeer Games and a holiday quiz show featuring Scrooge, Tiny Tim, and the Ghost of Christmas Future. A soap opera, "As the North Pole Turns," a news segment from the North Pole News, and some Christmas-themed commercials round out this fun seasonal comedy.

Dr. Greg Dziama directs our cast of Chloe Alvis, Brynne Bennett, Flora Brown, Harper Brown, Sienna Butler, Brady Cantrall, Finnley Cantrall, Penelope Chin-Albert, McKenna Coleman, Reece Cottle, Eva Feldkircher, Eden Garcia, Arabella Giaco, Rebecca Hill, Jake Hunter, Maggie Hunter, Maddyn Lacki, Tessa Macias, Libby Marcinak, Kennedy Minerar, Charlotte Motelka, Amanda Shi and Charlie Shi.

Reserved seat tickets are $8 for 12 and under; $12 for 13 and older and can be purchased online at app.arts-people.com/index.php?show=144518 or by calling the Clague Playhouse Box Office, 440-331-0403, on Wednesday through Saturday from 1-6 p.m. Tickets may be limited. Clague Playhouse is located at 1371 Clague Road in Westlake.

Our 13th Annual Jewelry Heist fundraiser will also be open during the Youth Holiday Show from 6-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 1-3 p.m. on Sunday.
